Car Culture App

Project Overview

Design a mobile application that aims to unite the car community by providing enthusiasts with a quick and easy way of finding nearby car events and cruises, exchange pictures, and become members of clubs.

Problem

How can we provide users with a single app to discover or create car events, instead of requiring them to search through various websites and groups to find relevant events?

STORYBOARD

Big Picture

The big picture storyboard visually illustrates the essential user interactions, offering a high-level overview of the entire user experience, from beginning to end.

Close-Up

The close-up storyboard focuses on specific user interactions and details, providing a detailed and granular view of the user experience at a micro level.

COMPETITIVE AUDIT

A competitive audit involves a comprehensive evaluation and analysis of similar apps in the market, aiming to gain insights into their strengths, weaknesses, and distinctive features. This assessment encompasses various aspects, including user experience, interface design, functionality, performance, and overall value proposition. By identifying areas for improvement, understanding market trends, and refining the app’s positioning, the audit enables the creation of a competitive advantage.

WIRE FRAME

Simplified visual representation that outlines the basic structure, layout, and functionality. It focuses on the placement of key elements such as buttons, menus, content sections, and navigation, without delving into detailed design aspects.

PROTOTYPE

The functioning prototype of the app provides a true representation of the final product, simulating its essential features and functionalities. Users can actively engage with the app, experiencing its intended behavior and flow firsthand. The prototype includes interactive elements such as clickable buttons, navigational paths, input fields, and simulated data, creating a realistic user experience. This prototype serves as a valuable tool for conducting user testing, gathering feedback, and validating the app’s usability and effectiveness before proceeding with full-scale development. It allows for iterative improvements and ensures that the final product meets the needs and expectations of its users.
